Bobby Sheer, I always stop by and say hi when in South Florida.
There is no end to the good stories. He was racing with Bill in Argentina when the boat broke in half and sank.

This Miss Gallo Wine was Lew Cooper's second Miss Gallo Wine boat, a 32' Active Cat. Lew was was over 60 years old when he started racing offshore. If you look in your copy of SeaRace, on page 419, you'll see the quote by Crouse where he said about Lew, "His Bonzai charges worried opponents and his crew!"
