We are looking for some projects that the owners are saying.....OK I think it is time for me to move on and sell this boat.

We,have a lot of interest from boat owners who are happy with their pleasure boat and don't want to race it.....BUT along with a friend or three, they would like to build a race boat for this race and to just have fun with.

Class D is perfect for old 27 and 28 footers like Magnums, Cigarettes, Panteras, Signatures, Sutphens etc etc. Many of these boats could be repowered by single engines or twin engines or outboards on a bracket. Three guys could chip in and produce a boat that will be competitive and make this race a memory for all involved.

So, if you have one of these boats or know of one, let us know and we will pass the information on to the racers.

Just noticed that Bertrams have won this race four time out of 11. Magnum, Cigarette, Pantera, Signature, Sutphen, have never won. All those big names of offshore and no victories in such a tough race.

Three out of eleven was won by a single engine boat.
Three out of eleven races outboards have won.
Four boats have won that were less than 21 feet long.
Just one cat win....waaay back in 1962.

Puts that Sonic 30 with small blocks and Alpha drives almost a big boat compared with some of the past winners....and he is coming back in 2015.

    •Class B 30 to 41 feet 2 engines
•Class C 25 to 33 feet Outboards and Single Inboard
    •Class D 18 to 24 feet Small Boat Class
•Class H Historic Open & Production class categories
So these are the classes, plus a possible manufacturers class, you expect to run this year? (I assume the A class will be changed as to number of engines, or a twin engine 42 and larger will be added?)
