a few weeks ago i shot out to the cottage on a sunday afternoon just to check on the place and get a few things done. got in and right to the tv i go to turn on the game, and the darn thing is gone. turn around and my rc boat is gone also, dvd, and some other small things. you have got to be kidding me here. quick call to the police and officer ryan stops by to look around and fill out the report. i know ryan from just small talk being out there on the weekends great guy. after he is done and a few laughs in the garage he ask is there anything else? i have to get back to work. just as he ask the question i look down in the corner and a set of 4 blade big shaft props are gone also. now you have to really be kidding me, there were not mine i just borrowed them. now i have to call the guy that owns them and tell him the good news. here we go, um paul (ratman) i lost your props. the funny thing is i've been trying to buy them from him for a while now. well on my way home officer ryan calls me and said we think we found your props. the guy took them to a antique shop and tried to sell them as old antique props. thank goodness one of the guys at the shop was a old coast guard and he knew something was up. so he bought them for 20 bucks (seems like a good price to me paul) followed the guy out to his car and got his plate number then called the cops. they did recover a few small things but best of all they got ratmans props back. did i mention i hate rif raf?

The burglar probably tried the props on his boat and only picked up 2mph, so he sold them.
In all seriousness, last week I had a door kicked in at my daughters house and I had to go board it up.
They got nothing. I got a $2,000 repair. Gotta trust Karma.

[QUOTE=Ratickle;623484]They worked on his boat, he just needs a bit more power to utilize them completely. I think he needs to talk to his engine builder.
But they were on there when you shot this!!
If you look close, you can read my name on the props
wow paul that was harsh. couple of dart motors with blowers. i'm going to have to talk to ben about this. stopped by there tonight to drop off my sled, and he bought one of the 2 extras in the trailer from me. hmm i wonder if those props would fit the ski doo?? that would go thru some deep snow.

all joking aside i'm so happy they found those props and thanks to paul for meeting with the detective to id them. my heart sunk when i saw they where gone. to borrow anything from a friend and lose it or break it or never return it is just not right.

update time. our boy got himself a 2 year stay in the gray bar hotel in muskegon co. now it is ottawa co. turn with him, which is my case. the detective is really trying to throw the book at him (go bigger or go home). 2/16 he has a pre trial sure hope that is the end of it. if not rat and i both got a subpoena for court in march. here's hoping for a plea deal. if the dumb a$$ would not have grabbed the props he would have been in so mush less trouble. but i guess a crook does not think that way, just saying. sure would like this over so someone can put some water time on those wheels. me!!
