A Nebraska woman was taken to University Hospital in Columbia after the boat she was riding in rolled. The incident occurred Saturday, July 19 around 8:50 p.m. on the 26.5 mile marker of the main channel.

Traci Henry, 44, of Plattsmouth, Neb. was a passenger in a 2014 Outer Limits vessel piloted by Brett Manire, 34, of Osage Beach. As the vessel was accelerating, it rolled to the starboard side. Henry was thrown and hit the gunwale of the starboard side of the boat.

She was taken to Lake Regional, then to University Hospital, for treatment of serious injuries. Another passenger sustained moderate injuries was she was thrown overboard in the incident.
