I just stumbled across a 22ft Marauder SS with a Holman Moody 351 Windsor set up
Knew better but couldn't stay away, dragged it back to San Diego from San Francisco
Had some issues, I think it had been wired by a fence mender or a spaghetti bender but have it sorted out now
Took it for a run, had a lot of fun, brings back memories of my Marauder 28
Older now, don't quite have the stuff to leave the hammer down like I used to.

Incidently has any one has seen or heard of my old 28 Marauder, I think it is some where in Southern California
I last saw it in Dana Point over 20 years ago, but I would buy it back in a heart beat if I could find it.

To the person who was asking about the other 28's. To my knowledge only four were built.
One was red, white and blue and went to Hong Kong on some kind of a promotion deal
One went to a DJ in Seattle who painted it silver, it had a pair of 302's
One white with blue trim was owned by a US Navy Captain, he kept it in Long Beach at the Navy Base. When the base closed I lost track
Mine was white with blue trim, had a pair of Merc 165's did right about 47 mph
Mine was originally sold to Pat Dougin who used it in Newport Beach to run along side and coach his crew on the 12 meter "Columbia"

    That's all I have
    Cheers

Rich, saw this photo of what definitely looks like a 28' Marauder. Puget Sound, Washington.
