She gps'd at 88 mph and is fairly stingy with fuel.

The trailer is all Aluminum, professionally built Hi-Tech Marine trailer with a triple axles making towing a real breeze.

The two Merc outboards at 200 hp each have been completely gone thru 2 years ago and runs great.

That is actually possible with that combination I think. It would be between around 8% prop slip. The Alpha SS came with a 1.32:1 gear ratio so at 5500 rpm with a 29" pitch prop the theoretical speed would be 114. 8% slip = 105 mph.....

I was along the same lines with a small block setup like that. But then I remembered the gear ratio on the SS and the nitrous injection, seemed possible......

    What, no guts?

Actually, I'm not familiar with the bottom on that Check so I can't say much of anything. But I've been in Allison's and Hydrostreams around that speed and they are extremely butt-puckering......
