yes, it has twins, the new merc racing 520 hp w xr drives, dts shift, throttles and tabs
mitcher-t did the paint and manning marine did the trailer, both look great. boat will be at the Miami boat show booth 3391

a singe 520 in that boat would be a great boat.

    I know, me too.
There are very few 28s that I would trade my 28 for.

    I have a higher deck and a three-angle fairing.

Is the Saber mold the original Apache 28' with deck modifications?

The 28 saber is totally different from the 28 apache. beam, lifting strakes, chine, keel, deck.... the 24,28 and 34 sabers are in house design, obviously the 41 and 47 are the apaches.

28 Apache is taller, wider, and heavier. There are certainly similarities when looking at the hull side view.
Looks very different from the top. The pic in post number 7 is in no way similar to my 28.
Not just the deck and the fairing, but the entire gunwale top all the way around the cockpit.

From comparing pics of mine and the one above, it also appears that the deck joint is higher on the hull side.

Thanks Jamie, some had said they were hull splashes and some had said they were the original molds. I'm not sure anyone was absolutely positive they were Saber in-house designs....

I know Mark Peters 28 was one heck of a performer!!!

We went over and looked at the boat yesterday. A good looking boat, I'll get some pics up. Nice engine package they've chosen, I think it's going to be one heck of a performer.

It was also nice to see the 41 Center Console they are working on and the 41 and 47 Apache/Saber molds.......
