Is anybody familiar with this hull? It says Skater, then it says Skater bottom, any thoughts?

Ryan Beckley says, "HydraTech built in NJ".

So it's not a real Skater.

I wonder if it's an exact splash or their own semi-copy?

These are HydraTech cat made on the east coast. There not a Skater or a Shadow but kinda both in some way. In the late 80's there was one racing in APBA P class called Konkrete Kat P-15 against Skaters. They never set the race world on fire. A few raced the USO circuit with Io Stern Power drives, I believe one was raced by Kurts marine. . I think are Eastern Express Skater raced this silver one in D class back then too, I dont believe it ever made a full race. Old Ohio Magnum racer Gil Lieber had a red pleasure one with Sternpower drives too.

Express cat not really, as the 31' [like Chariots of fire] has a taller hull & wider tunnel. And the 33' Image like our old Motor City Magic is a 11' beam hull.
