New motor gen5 454 mag bottom end, alum heads (not sure which yet, but the intakes will stay under 320) 500hp efi roller cam and holley dominator EFI... probably stainless marine for the exhaust

Did you do any testing with opposite rotation?

Won't like the Bravo either. Rev 4 is ok. Try a Mach Stendriver - if you can find one...

Yeah, mine had more hook on one side than the other. I ground both sides and re-gelled; the bottom was approx. 1 1/2" thick so I could get away with this fix.

Did yours need to have a lot of tab on one side to run flat before you fixed it?

No. The difference was about 1/4". Mine is an '88, it is built well. I got lucky, some were not built so well; print-through, wavy bottoms, etc.

Yeah kind of trips me out hearing you say your bottom was really thick... My bottom was so bad that with the motor out and standing in the bilge you could see the bottom flex as you shifted your weight. I does not do that anymore.

The steering, tabs and a little bottom grinding should level things out a bit though......
