Ok guys, enough with the mystery, there is already too much mystery with this boat, we don't need any more! Here it is, safe and sound at it's new home in Michigan.

Now, anyone that can help fill in the blanks on this boat, please feel free to post. Boat was built in '89, Hull and Deck built by Mc Manus, completed and rigged by Bobby Moore, and supposedly owned and raced by Eicke Batista for a short time. It originally had Lambos and 3's, then converted to 6's. Only run for a short time in South America, then sat for a long time. At some point the boat came back to USA and converted to Chevy's with it's current paint. Not much is known about the boat after this. It was listed for sale and was on Ebay at some point, but apparently did not sell. Then the boat went missing, was completely stripped, then recovered by law enforcement. After a lengthy stay at an impound yard, I was able to buy the boat. I was able to find some hatches for the boat, but still need plenty of parts.

If anyone has any of the following parts for sale, feel free to send me a message.

    1. Apache Staggered Motor Mounts
    2. Tabs and Pumps
    3. Exhaust
    4. Drives (wet 6's)
    5. Props
    6. Driveshaft Assembly for Staggered Engine.

    Thanks for Looking,

    Tommy

Funny you say that Bob. Yes, it is definitely a "love it" or "hate it" paint job. You have all heard it before, especially on the Apache forum, but it looks better in person. Most days I love the paint job, some days not as much. Regardless of the color scheme, the quality of the paint job is incredible! The finish is flawless. The boat sat uncovered in the Florida sun for a year and a half, but the finish on the decks still in great condition. The interior, however did not fare so well. The sun baked the life right out of the bolsters.

So, to answer your question Bob, not much. I plan to make subtle changes, but the crazy paint scheme is here to stay for awhile. Getting the boat rigged and seaworthy is what is most important to me right now. I am hopeful to have it back in the water next season.

    I totally get it.
I had the same experience with my 28. When I first saw it on the net, I thought "ok, let's go all white." But then I saw it in person and everything changed.

Tommy, I think I'm probably the biggest pinhead in terms of looking askance at "goofy" paint jobs... but... I rather like yours.. go figure. Does Bob's buddy Mike ( of the A Trailer Full of Cool thread) have any items that may be rigged into your boat????

I'm not the biggest fan of the green, but overall it works. Especially on an old Apache race boat. Call Eicke and see what he thinks. I believe it was all white when he had it....

Yes. Heading to Boyne Thunder this afternoon...as a spectator or possible rider if I can find an open seat. I hope to be there in time for the party on the hill tonight. See you all there!

One of the closest relatives to your Apache 41 was up here today, the 41 Saber "Clifford"....

Congrats Tommy, nothing like a 3 pack 41. There are just so few of those out there that makes them so special. I wish ya the best finding the parts. We went on the hunt as well trying to find the boat but apparently it was in hiding few years ago. There were some shenanigans but im glad she has a new home and im sure you will get her running strong again

Finally got a chance to work on the Apache this past weekend. Pulled the bolsters and the dashpad out for recovering.

This is the result of sitting uncovered in the Florida Sun for 2 years. Fortunately the paint on the decks faired a bit better.

Cut and fit the hatches Friday night with the help of Jason (Torrent on SOS).
