    Heritage Coast Grand Prix

    Come Play on Tawas Bay!

Join Us in Tawas on June 13-16 for Beautiful Beaches, Family Fun, and Revved Up Racing!

The 2nd Annual Heritage Coast Grand Prix is four fun-filled and family-oriented days of activities on Michigan’s "Heritage Coast". Transport yourself to an idyllic small town complete with sandy beaches, a protected bay, multiple gorgeous campgrounds, and plenty of local shops and motels intent on serving up a healthy portion of relaxation and fun.

If you want a new place to experience home grown hospitality on a beautiful gem of a crystal blue bay, look no further! Last year, over 12,000 people helped kick off the inaugural Heritage Coast Grand Prix. The picturesque downtown area rose to the occasion and provided fun and refreshments for all the fans, lots of whom didn’t know anything about racing. Come to Tawas and check out the boats, meet the drivers, and experience the thrill of the races.

The Heritage Coast Grand Prix event is so much more than a boat race. From Thursday through Sunday evening, there are plenty of activities as diverse as a child’s play area, a block party, a racer meet and greet, an arts and craft show, bonfires on the beach, a vintage boat display, a boat parade and more.

When you visit the Tawas area, we guarantee that you won’t be disappointed. The local community is committed to sharing the beauty, friendliness, and pride of the community with all our visitors. Come out and play on Tawas Bay!
