    Others there in SuperVeeLite included:

Lilly Sport Boats - I think everyone knows who Art Lilly is. This is the old Pig Iron boat and this is their first race in the boat since the purchase and redo.

Also there was the old TUGIT boat with the new owners...

It must have been a fun race to watch. I guess there were a few spinouts. But, I guess that would be expected when the class runs 19 laps on a 2.3 mile course!

That would have also been fun to drive in, but that is sure a lot of corners for an offshore raceboat to do. I can't wait to chat with some more of the drivers and throttle guys to see what their thoughts were.

    Paul,
I can tell you that was one hard race. The Pirate boat was running on the edge the entire time. Just crossed over the edge with the spin once. They went a little wide in the turn and I dove for the inside, just should have waited about 3 more seconds. It turned out to be a soft spin, we were trimmed up and lost a lot of time on the Tug. So we started chasing them down and laying on the pressure. Like Travis said, all we need is a mistake or a spin and that is all it took. We new if we kept the pressure on we had a shot at taking them. The old saying is never give up, we were running faster every lap closing the gap. It is going to be a great year for the SVL class. Congratulations on a great race to the entire fleet.

First of All, very few people have the balls to run up front. Kevin has plenty!!

We spun out and it was all my fault, it happened because we were not pushing anymore. We had it in cruise control and our bow caught a wake from the big cats and around we went. Congratulations to the pirates.

Kevin said it best!! "It's nice to be upfront!!!

For the record we got hot this time but it could be the other way the next.

As for the comment that I like to hit other boats when they are not mine. Check the records, you will find that is not the case. There is only first place everything else does not matter.

As the great Glenn Murray says, "nobody spins out at the bar" in this case nobody spins out behind their computer.

    Tug It Baby!!!!

    Wil
