getting ready to start building as soon as I get the boat back. Ordered seats yesterday, they are supposed to ship the 20th. White with black alacantara (or however you spell it). Got another set of zero effort controls out at the chromers. picked up some MTX 7.7 coaxs and a 1200 watt amp. Gaffrig monster gauges, azimuth 1000 electronic compass, got half of my pop up cleats. The console is designed, just need the seats for final dimensions. It will have white padded sides with a carbon fiber center. all new contura labled/lighted switches will be mounted on a polished stainless plate. GlassDave was taking about me needing a new light weight engine hatch. Asked him how much, he said "materials", he has a mold for it and told me he was going to teach/supervise me building it. Its going to get new side boards in the cockpit along with new new sunpad and back seat. Going to pull the house carpet off the walls in the cabin and cover them in foam backed white vinyl. pop up cleats all the way around and adding 2 to the sides in the back to hold fenders for rafting. Pop up bow light. adding a few grab handlesfor passengers And finally finish it off with new carpet for the cockpit.

pretty much, it would be a lot of work to end up with a slower boat. After running it a couple times in smooth and lumpy water, 60 mph doesn't really get the boat to excited.
