Saw 94% in our area, looked like a little crest peaking over the top of the moon.
Clear skies with warm sunshine, made it nice to view.
Interesting and cool to see the "phenomenon/event", but wouldn't think of traveling across country to witness.

I wouldn't either. Unless I worked it into a motorhome trip or something. But in twenty years I won't give a flock. But totality was pretty cool. They said it would be like two minutes, but it was like 15 seconds that you could look right at it and see only the corona. As soon as it was "dark" out it was getting light again.

I sent the drone (I call it Pete) up right before totality hoping to catch shadows moving across the land. Instead it was sort of a 360-degree sunset. Not quite as cool as I hoped. Maybe at double speed.

I got as fancy as holding glasses over my phone's camera lens.
Tried a few zooms, best views were a couple videos.
Had a hard time staying steady, keeping phone on the sun, and keeping glasses in front of camera lens....

Have you tasted it? There is definitely a 360 in taste from the Deer.

As far as I know, all lizards poop ends with a hard whitish urate speck at the end of the poop. Deer do not.
