The NOAA wind, wave and tide equipment at the Naval Base is still measuring wind, but stopped reporting everything else at 1512 today. These measurements are not too scary, if they can be validated. According to this, the lowest pressure came through about 0800.

It is really weird that no news is coming out of the keys.

Don't know the size of the storm surge. The damages to the power grid and roads. The damages to the main buildings. Nothing......

The only thing I can think of, it's not nearly as bad as the Irmageddon doomsayers predicted so, they are ignoring it???
