Friday I was down at Skater, had lunch with Peter and Tyson. After lunch I was helping Tyson a bit and a big storm rolls through. He then he turned off the big air compressor. He looks at me and says, "Do they have tornado sirens here?" I'm, "Yep". He says it sounds like them, but I'm deaf so I open the door and go, "Yep, that's tornado sirens, but don't worry about it, we're too close to the lake so they form farther inland". So he's like, "Where's a safe place"? We decided the boat he's building would be the safest while I'm calling my wife, she looks at the TV and says, "Too late, it's past you now".

Later that evening on the news, the tornado hit about 1 1/2 miles directly east of where Skater is. Wiped out a garage and barn, plus a few trees. Just a small one.

We had a fairly large Waterspout on Saturday..by the time I got clear of the buildings it had started to dissipate .
