    Lake Erie tried to eat a bunch of us this last past week. I went out Thursday when it was supposed to be 2mph from the east and it turned 10-15 from the NE and whipped the lake up faster than I could get off that bitch. Then Saturday a sailboater from Florida was killed when he was thrown from a sailboat near Catawba. Then a bunch of tough offshore fellas were in a poker run out of Erie PA and got their asses kicked. Nothing like 8-10 foot waves 8-10 feet apart. Everybody turned back. Even the 43 punisher.

    Hilarious to hear from all these guys who have boated everywhere. "We turned back after a half mile. The waves were so close together you couldn't do ANYTHING."
