    [QUOTE=Buoy;607946]Happy Bday Ponch!!!

    Free Denny's breakfast...
My first job was at a Denny's when I was 16.
I still love a breakfast there.

We used to hit Denny's at 2:30 am after hitting the bars...

"2 eggs over-easy, 4 bacon, extra crispy hashbrowns, and white toast"
When I was halfway through that, and the server came back to check if you needed anything, I would order another plate exactly the same.

Sounds like my routine back in the day, Tim

Safeway lumberjack sub for dinner tonight. These things are huge, probably 3 Subway foot longs together. Will have enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

Hi Ho's! Sunny day, so maybe one of the last to wear shorts. Yesterday a ford dealer owner died Cal Worthington. His commercials made him famous here on the west coast, even appeared on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Basically if you watched TV here you knew who he was. RIP Cal Worthington!

    Wow!!! Major rain today!!
    Been raining HARD all day.
I have a wash running through my property to the South of the house.
All the rain comes off the mountain and runs off through my wash.
    Usually the wash is dry.
Today, I could have literally gone white-water rafting in my own yard.
Water was running about 10' wide, and I'm estimating 1-1/2' deep.
Sitting on the porch, you can hear it running. Pretty cool!
Wish I could get to a vantage point for a good pic.

On a side note, I don't know if it washed out any of the rural roads out here. It's quite possible I could be stuck up here.
I have 2-1/2 cases of beer, 7 packs of smokes, and 4 wheel drive on the truck.
    I should be ok.

Jeff, what's amazing is that I used to eat like that, and never gained weight.
I'm 5'11", and I think at my heaviest I might have been 165#.
No matter how much I eat, I don't gain weight.
These days, my appetite is about "happy meal" size.
I'm probably only going 150-155 now.

In Arizona during a rain storm drove through a flooded section of road. Water got into the transmission and it had to be rebuilt. Happened to the best car the family has owned, 1989 BMW 325IX, all wheel drive. We bought it new. It was awesome in snow. Timing belt broke at 425K kilometers on the clock.

Sold it on eBay to an 18 yr old kid that looked like Joey Ramone.

I went from 2 pots of coffee a day to 0 coffee.
    Lately I'm a half pot a day.
I don't FORGET dinner, but occasionally get lazy about cooking, and just drink a beer.

I need my coffee, 2 pots in the morning. Had left over Safeway sub this afternoon and wasn't hungry at dinner time, skipped it and just had some vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce.

Hi Ho's!!! He had a dealership near Seattle, all our local channels in Vancouver came out of Seattle. So saw his commercials often.

Another coming to look at 420SEL and someone else for the S500. If either sells it being replaced by a 89 Bentley turbo R. Auto auction in Japan, they go cheap.

Both guys getting back to me. Last week at the auto auction in Japan an 89 Bentley Turbo R with 40k kilometers sold for $4,500. With import duties, shipping, registration fees, etc. That would come out to roughly $8,000. They sell between $15K to $25K. Steal of a deal. One just like the last up for auction now.
