Hi Ho's!! Coffee pot died this morning. Heading up to Wal-Mart for a new one. Bonus they have Tim Horton's inside, so get to fill my caffeine levels back up.

I would agree that it is probably best to stand by the "no comment" remark.

Don't buy the cheap Black and Decker.
It doesn't close right, which makes the little plunger shut off fail to open and hot water fills the filter/ basket and floods the counter.

Good tip thanks! Not sure what I'm buying yet. Banged my current one a few times and it started working. Still going to get a new one latter today.

Was looking online at dogs in my local area shelters. 4 year old male Rottweiler that they've named Poncho. Might have to get him based on that alone.

Unless they have one named Steve, I guess.

I bought one at Wal Mart for like 20 bucks the day mine died. Have to stick a butter knife under the coffee pot lid to jack the plunger up enough to work.

Phoned the shelter and asked if I could bring my dog Ty and see if they get along. They encourage bringing your dog. But in this case Poncho doesn't get along with other dogs at all. So I'll keep looking. At least the shelters here are no kill. So he's not on death row if he doesn't get adopted.

Ponch, how is Ty doing without Buddy?

When Riley was dying, I knew we had to get another dog, because Dyce would go nuts being alone.
Jody was online searching for "shelter/rescue" dogs for a few weeks.
Every ten minutes I was getting a "come here, look at this one"...
As she was scrolling down one time, I saw a picture of Gaitz (Duke at the time), I made her scroll back, and those three pictures, I said "That's him, I want him"
His "adoption" was already pending to someone else, but we explained our situation, and they decided on us.
The day we picked him up, we were as nervous and excited as expectant parents.
He's been a great dog! I don't want to say as good as Riley was, but, I do want to say he's as good as Riley... if you know what I mean.

You'll find the right dog, and don't be afraid of that "first sight" instinct.

Ty is doing o.k. without Buddy. When I come home he goes around the car whimpering and looking. Think he's looking for Buddy. Other then that, he's normal. I try and take him whenever I go out. Unless he's going to be sitting in the car for awhile.

    Elmer J. Fund...
Has an Apache with a pair of 850's, a Benz, a Dually, a Lincoln/Cadillac (whatever, same smell), a Malibu... and a chitty coffee maker.

    Noted.

Storm coming in from the East.
I'm never gonna get used to that.
Storms out here can come from any direction.
I was always used to storms only coming from the West.

We have overcast with rain in the morning. Was hoping September was going to be nice and also have a mild winter.
