Black Thunder ANNOUNCES IT’S RETURN TO PRODUCTION






Black Thunder has returned to production for an international launch of its 2013 Powerboat Line. BT continues it’s legacy as the “100 mph condo on the water”.

Black Thunder 2013’ line introduces more luxury without trading speed! The 46’ 6’10” ceiling height cabin is unique and superior to anything in it’s class. The new expanded bathroom and shower, cabin upgrades, and state of the Art Garmin electronics including Satellite Weather and Night Vision (FLIR Imaging) interfacing with a Touch Screen Entertainment package takes the “100 mph water condo” to another level.

For the first time Black Thunder Power Boats has began work on establishing a Marina and Dealership located on one of the USA’s most popular fresh water lakes, Lake of the Ozarks. As a dealership, this facility located on the 26-mile marker will conduct sales, service, production boat rigging, fit, finish and testing. As a marina they will provide dry storage, slips, repair and fuel services.


New Products in development include a 31’ and 39' Center Console model designed for pleasure, fishing and commercial use.

Shane, I would have to say this weekend has made me prouder to be a Black Thunder owner more than ever. First on Saturday we were in the middle of the mad rush of everyone leaving the Shootout. In pouring rain with 6ft.+ swells and boats wall to wall we weaved through traffic for 10 miles. The way the boat handled in those conditions was amazing. Everyone in the boat felt safe and the ride was amazing for the conditions. Sunday at the Shootout it was great to park next to you guys. The excitement of the Jenkins family and the Black Thunder team with the new boats was great to see. Then the number of people interested in the boats. Now to get ready for Key West! Back in Black 2013!
