Thought I'd start a new thread on her in the proper place.....

A little background... I'm a Diesel mechanic by trade currently employed by Holt Cat....

I've had a few fast cars, truck, and motorcycles but was really bitten by the performance boating bug......

My last "decent" ride was a '93 Checkmate 230 Enforcer powered by a 516cid big block which ran 85 mph.

Unfortunately I had to give it up due to a dip in the economy a few years ago....

Put a lot of $$ and research in to it to get it "perfect" but it had to go....

Soo fast forward to my new project.....

When I picked 'er up in Oklahoma she was in less than ideal condition...

The previous owner got it in this condition and got as far as sanding all the roller'ed on paint sanded off then ran out of steam....

I picked it up after some of the paint removal had been done and hauled it to Texas...

I flipped it upside down in my yard and proceeded to fill the thru-hull pickup and fix any of the defects I found...

I then painted it with Nason Full-thane single stage polyurethane...

I used the paint code for GM Olympic white and let me tell ya' it's B R I T E !!!!

I got it flipped back over and put on my "new" trailer (I LOVE having a service truck with a crane at the house)

Tonight we worked some on the interior......

It's a rear seat / engine hatch from a Superboat and Bolsters from a Carrera.....

Pretty happy with it so far.. Obviously some of it needs to be re-conditioned but you get the idea....
