Emperial Americas Signs Sponsorship With AMF/Miss GEICO Racing

SARASOTA, FL--(Marketwire - May 31, 2012) - Emperial Americas, Inc. (OTCBB: TEXX) today announced that it has entered into a multi-year sponsorship agreement with AMF/Miss GEICO Offshore Racing for the award winning tequila, Tequila Distinguido.

CEO Alonzo Pierce said, "This is all about generating sales through increased awareness in key demographics and in key markets among consumers and accounts. As we continue our grassroots marketing efforts (like the Indy Lights Sponsorship), the AMF/Miss GEICO sponsorship is another step we have taken in that direction. Florida is a key market, being the 2nd largest tequila consumption market in the USA. We are capitalizing on this with the AMF/Miss GEICO sponsorship. Distinguido (translated 'distinguished' in Spanish) is a premium brand and has tremendous appeal to this upscale market. Because of these type of events our sales will continue to grow quarter-to-quarter, like the recent increase of 22%."

Pierce added, "These upscale offshore race events will allow exposure of Distinguido with both on and off premise accounts in each of the race markets. Our key accounts will have 6-time World Champion Miss GEICO on location for consumers to experience the world's most famous offshore race boat up close. This sponsorship will create high visibility for Distinguido in a variety of areas, including the AMF/Miss GEICO Racing website with links to the EA site, logo placement on all print media that are provided to AMF/Miss GEICO and to all TV, radio and print before each show. The Distinguido logo will be featured on over 250,000 hero cards as well as praised in all media interviews. In addition, the Distinguido logo will be featured not only on the AMF/Miss GEICO boats, trucks, and trailers, but also on team uniforms and banner placement at the events. At the national boat shows, the Distinguido logo will be displayed on all AMF/Miss GEICO exhibits plus the Distinguido TV Commercials will broadcast continuously on the big screen TV displays. Our first event will be the Suncoast Sarasota Poker Run in Sarasota June 29th through July 1st. In addition to the race exposure the former world champion Miss GEICO Distinquido boat will be made available during race events to the Company for on-premise account promotions to allow consumers to see it up close. The sponsorship will continue through this season and into the 2013 season as well, which is being broadcast on FOX Sports."

The race schedule for the rest of this season includes: Sarasota 6/29-7/1, St. Clair, MI 7/27-7/29, Michigan City, IN 8/3-85, Atlantic City 8/17, Patchogue, NY 8/24-8/26, NYC 9/7-9/9, Clearwater, FL 9/28-9/30, Tampa Poker Run 10/5-10/6, Jupiter, FL (Worlds 2 Races) 10/18-10/21, Fort Lauderdale Boat Show Bash & Poker Run 10/26, culminating with the World Championships in Key West (SBI Worlds 3 Races) 11/4-11/11.

I thought you were going to Solomons? I was told the reason they changed the date for the Solomons race was because you had to be at the SBI race originally scheduled on top of the Solomons race so they changed it so you could make both.
