We had one go through yesterday up here. A guy driving by saw the hole in the ice, the rescue team came out and found the sled in the lake, but couldn't find a body. They found the guy at work, he got out, walked home, then went to work.....

wow that sucks. i am going to old forge in two weeks the lakes are not good now. i always check the lake out at day time and talk to the guys fishing to see how much the ice is frozen other wise i run the trails. one year i help a guy pull his sled out 10 feet from the bank.. my buddy lost his sled went to the bottom he was lucky. the next day he had to pay a diver to hook a rope to his sled $300and pull it out

Just got off the phone with a buddy of mine. He crashed and screwed up his clavicle and hasn't gone to work for a couple days......

Said at the last minute he put on a helmet, or he'd probably be dead....
