12-23-2011 07:52 PMPersonal opinion only. I have Lightnings on two of my boats. Zero issues so far, (knock on wood). For salt you'd have to use their stainless ones.

I have CMI sport tube headers. There made out of 316L Stainless Steel, and they look brand new after 6 years. I'm very happy with them. I also run in salt water

12-24-2011 12:55 PMThe boat is a 02 25 Outlaw---I have a blown 6.2 now and bought a new 502----I flush it either with the ears on the drive or uusally I use the fresh water hose connection mounted in the bilge......I had thought I read some where that some guys were having trouble with their stainless headers developing leaks at the head-----course maybe they were the older ones????? Thanks for any input !!!!! Mike !!!! Tampa Bay !!!

06-18-2012 08:06 AMWelcome.
Throw them in the classifieds, they are free. That's a decent price on them, I'm trying to think of anyone I know with a small-block that is looking now.
