In the 15 – 64 age group, for every 100 men, Canada has 102 women. The provinces where the imbalance is greatest are Newfoundland/Labrador, Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia; all have more than 105 women for every 100 men.

Triumph is OK. Rush on the other hand kicks ass. My guess is that even Canada wants to forget Aldo Nova.

Gretzky- he spoke at a trade show I was at once. Maybe he was having a really bad day but he was a complete creep/jerk.

Pam used to be hot/cute but she's kinda road worn these days. Tommy Lee and THEN the Girls Gone Wild scumbag? Really? Hep C is also not a big turn on.

Tim's rocks. Plus they have more of them than we have McD's. My guess is that soon Tims will have donut ATM's on every block. "You don't have to be hungry to eat a donut"- OPM.

Canadian bacon is the light beer of pork products. I mean, the best part about bacon is that there's not a single thing about it that's any good at all for you. If you can't roll with the real thing, then fry yourself up a tofu burger. Do Canadians call the real thing American bacon?

    Now...

They've got a couple of potential deal breakers-

    Ketchup on potato chips

    Celine Dion

French Canadians. (which you can't really hold against Canada since the regular Canadians aren't all that hot on the idea of them being there either.)

A two-word immigration policy- "Fuc& It". Last time I was there it felt like I was in a foreign country.

Canadian television. OK- maybe not this one. Canadian TV used to be weird. But God love em, they dodged the bullet on the Kardashikunts, the Real Housewives and the whole phoneality craze. Maybe unfunny comedy shows aren't that bad after all.

Taxes. Hey, someone has to pay the freight. You buy one item up there and the receipt has seven lines. One for your purchase and six others for the various taxes. Gotta love collectivism. See comment on immigration above.

I'll give you aldo nova. It was the next video and when it started it sort of rocked. I was 5 beers into a six of Yuengling. It was only after I posted it that I watched the video and saw the spandex. So I'll concede that.

But there is a canada bashing thread for rest.

Aldo Nova??? Never herd of them! We do have bands that should have made it big in the U.S. But few people have herd of them!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZaeEopDW0V4

Immigration has been out of control. The current government has decided to copy the U.S immigration laws so they'll let in less people! They are also passing laws that you need a net worth of $800,000 to become a citizen. The previous regime with open immigration has made cities like Richmond become over 60% Chinese in population! So you see mostly Asian strip malls and department stores. The great about this is the Chinese and even Japanese restaurants are awesome!

I rarely speak of an my mediocre pro audio career in the 90s. I ran across this song renting a PA and mixing for a regional band. It was a blast to mix live. I had never heard of Our Lady Peace but they were on my radar after that.
