    Sweet boat, Ratickle!
I will try to recover some of my 39' Scorpion pix to post here. Unfortunatly they are all on a hard drive that has killed itself. A friend of mine also has a 39' Scorpion as well. It is always interesting with both boats rafted off each other at the Jack's on Lk St Claire. No matter how many cool boats are docked up, people always stop and compliment our boats the most it seems.

Professionals, please feel free to chime in! Should I consider raising drives while I have the opportunity?

Wow, what a bunch of work you've attacked......

What drives are you thinking of using? The height the engines are currently mounted would not want me to raise the CG any farther to raise the drives. But, on the other hand, the TRS setup is way down on the X...

Here is a 1982 Chris Craft Scorpion from Lake St Claire. This boat is all original, with the exception of the engines. It is in mint condition. It has a pair of 630hp's in it and runs very well. It is owned by the orininal family that ordered it new in 1982. This boat was docked behind Bill Farmer's house for a short time, while the factory was working out some bugs with it.
