    Julie,
    How much for the:
    Mercury #6 BRAND NEW 5B 16.50 x 28P RH & LH labbed props!

Also, If I currently run 16.5 X 29 4 blade Mercs @ 5800...what rpm would I theoretically be able to turn the 28P 5 blades?

    Hey Old School,

Rule of thumb is of course to reduce one inch of pitch when adding a blade to maintain RPM. It usually holds true to within 100 ish RPM. So if the 29P
4B are running the appropriate RPM the the 28P 5B will run very close. But the additional blade will induce some lift. So this can also effect the RPM. This set of props has been tested only and the props were new from Mercury Racing, as I purchased them for this client. They have less than 2 hurs of run time on them....all witnessd by myself.

    Thanks!

So...I should be able to turn the 28 five blades at the same rpm? Would it help in the slip department? How much $$$?

So here is the deal....I want to move the rest of these props.

    4B propellers = $225 each
    5B propellers = $400 each
    6B propellers = $600 each

Keep in mind most are labbed so its a lot of bang for the buck, with labbing worth $125.00 ish a blade.
