Well that's just plain silly; you need to put more air in the rear tires of the S-10 and maybe larger safety chains.

He just needs a weight distributing hitch.

Meanwhile... I have become smitten with the idea of buying a cheap used Ford E-450 Goshen shuttle bus for El Cheapo.

Took in a Jeep Wrangler, wife thought it was cool. Let her drive it for a summer, we had a 25 Baja we put in 5 or 6 times a week. The tires slide all the way down the ramp.

Think a Ford Ranger would be better with the Scorpion than the S10 was????

I use to put it in four wheel low, and it would whine all the way down the ramp.

Miss my F-350. It was a nice ride. Just picked up a Caddy Escalade last weekend - Love it! My 2004 Ford Explorer work truck is junk! Stick with GM!

You're supposed to replace them when the tread is all gone.....

Tread was like new, we have a steep ramp. That Baja weighed more then the Jeep. Trailer brakes would have helped, never took time to hook up the right plug on Jeep. That Wrangler never got better then 13mpg, joke is my 02 Excursion get the same mpg that the Jeep did!

I wish Ford still made the Excursion cause I'd buy one in a heart beat.

I got a simular letter from a Ford dealer. Except they needed my 04 Ranger on trade for a new F150.

Got ya beat. My '99 Silverado only has 55k miles on her. Gotta love having a company vehicle to take home every night!
