    By the way getting off the subject for a min, it was great getting a look at the Octane boat Jim and Bob did an awesome job today . Jim is working hard on the new boat they looked great today. All the boats are getting closer and closer, and we both past inspection this weekend so we r pretty much good to go.

    They did compression checks on about 5-6 boats this weekend, and trying to get most of them done before KW. From what I heard they are going to try and whistle most of the boats in KW. That will be done after the race not before.

    Thats the plan, see how the racing goes and how close it is. They are going to do the compression, and drive height first and get them all done. Also doing SCL at the same time, I thnk they did both of them in NY. Everyone they did was within the range.
    I have a fun story to tell you when we talk....

    I think you will see a good show this yr in the SVL class , I know the teams i have spoke to are all excited about it. Like always the SVL class in a tight group and we r working to try and get as many boats as we can. Times are tough for us all right now so we are all trying are best, I know IMCO,Sunprint,Absoltely Not, Wil, and possible 2-3 other.

    So, let me get this absolutely correct, the boats will all have;

    Drive Height Checked.
    Compression Checked.
    Cu In Checked (Whistled).
    They all have to have the inspection hole for the flywheel to be magnet checked.
    I'm assuming prop, as you've always been accurate on that.
    Weight, length, width, etc. as always.

    But, based on last year's late announcement, anything goes on ECM Box and therefore RPM?

    I'm asking Frank, just want to be clear as can be so no surprises for anyone. If we get it right, maybe 8 or more boats could be there.
    Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!

    The only thing i havent heard talked about is a hole to ck the fly wheel, but that doesnt mean they arent doing it.

    Yes you r correct you can use a non stock ECM .

    Drive height is 1/2 below the bottom of the BOAT not the notch if the boat has one.

    Weight hasnt changed 4750 lbs.

    Max cubic in.is 509
