My 30' Phantom is about to be put in the classifieds.

The engine, which is not currently running, is a Blue Thunder 540 with a SSM #5 on a box. The boat is not an ex-raceboat.

Let me know if you have any questions.

I'd rather be on the boat with a drink on the rocks, than in the drink with my boat on the rocks.

I think you shouldn't be selling it.

What kind of performance have you seen with that combo?

The drive came off my SVL raceboat, and I have two props from the racing days also. There is a 1" spacer in the drive, and I have not toyed with setup at all. I have a 1/2" spacer that could go with the boat as well. Best speed with no changes from the day I got it - 87 mph.
I'd rather be on the boat with a drink on the rocks, than in the drink with my boat on the rocks.

The "cabin" is good for storage, but is pretty basic - no padding. The engine is a 540 built by Rob Stopiano with Blue Thunder. They did a lot of racing engines in the late 90's and early 2000's, but he ended up expanding into a rocker arm company I believe. The boat has just been sitting for a couple of years (I have two young kids) and it really only needs a good cleaning (boat and engine) to be up and running. It has CMI Big Tube headers, so the dry exhaust is loud. I installed GGB mufflers which helps some. Two props and a full length boat cover go with it. I will try to write up a more detailed description over the weekend.

The spacer has been on a shelf since 2002. I was thinking it is something smaller than what is on the drive now, but I guess not. I won't guess on props, I'll get the exact specs.
