    The Mercruiser special, originally driven by George Morales has finally made it to our shop. It will be restored to its original for the Cowes to Torque race

    Here is a pic of it now and from its past glory

    Going to have vintage power and drives??
    Would be cool to see a nice 8 stack mechanical injected set of powerplants in there

    I don't think that is the old Mercruiser Special. I saw it not long ago and it was still painted as Popeyes.

    Also had a different (black) cover over the cockpit...

    I was informed by Mr Becky (our resident historic expert) that this is the old Miss Maxon which is the same boat as Merc special. Anyway, it will be restored as the Merc special

    Why did Ben Kramer order a deep v Cougar, when he was making Apaches? I know he ordered a 48 foot catamaran from Cougar that was Erics Reality/Gentry

    Edit works for the first 24 hours after a post. After that, it's in for the duration unless you get a mod to change it.
