Don't forget the part that was REALLY a snag with the poker run...producing the video! Unless everyone is ok with just raw footage.

The pics are great for framing and hanging on the wall, but there's nothin better during the winter months than watching a video of your boat running along with a bunch of your buddies boats too. Just my $.02
If you want those hard to get shots, then the photographer needs to be in a bird, otherwise you could just shoot pics from boat to boat. If you're gonna send the $$$ for a bird, why not have vids too ??

You have a point, just need to have a videogragher versus a photog... I was orginally looking for pics and interest in this thread. I will talk to my guy and see what he has in line as far as video capabilities... btw... his site is so so but you can see some of his work.... http://kenyoderphotography.net/

05-15-2011 10:29 AMI am interested! My graphics have all been updated since the last time we got picks. Just remember guys, it's still kind of a crap shoot if the pics happen to be good of your boat. Out of 3 or 4 times we done it I've only had once where the pics were good enough to purchase.

When you pick a day for the filming, it's a crap shoot what the weather will be. Could be 25-30 mph N/E winds with 5-7's out there, maybe no wind a flat as glass, or maybe even raining. Can't pick the weather.

Awesome! Somebody FINALLY has photographic evidence of the proliferation of the tiny, see-through helicopters that always seem to be following me. I TOLD you I'm not crazy!
