    not to bring you down, but good luck ....maybe you can find some 27's and get them shaped to 25-24's...but i doubt that there are any 24 big shaft props around in 4 blade !!

    i know. i have some 25's, but want to leave them alone. i did find some 24 small shafts, and a local machine shop here will spine them for between $75 - $150 per prop. so i may go that route.

    that machine shop price sounds good ! I would go that route !
    If i may ask, what boat are these on..they are a small pitch for a SSM !?

    38 cig with little motors. lol 575's. drives are the 1.36's. one of these days i will build some bigger motors. twin 16 year old's getting new cars, college funds, expense wife, another boat project. seems my fun is always last on the list.

    Todd, don't feel bad...its the same in my life. Even without kids !

    but before buying props..i would just change gears to 1:48 !

    i have his # here on my desk, just give me a ring. btw i missed a 2nd set of 24 small shafts. so if any one has a set big or small shaft props please let me know. the boat has been in the shop for 3 weeks now, and i just got started on it tonight. man i have some work to do.

    Hi baronmarine ratickle said you are restoring a 24 foot bertram baron. I am trying to figure out the difference between the Moppie II and the baron. I have a 24 foot bertram that I was told was the Baron but I am getting mixed opinions. Can you please tell me what the difference between the two are. Tks
