    Cougar Cub with 25HP.....the "seed" was planted by my old man who bought the thing for me...I must have waxed it 1,000 times!

    Check out the "sponsor" stickers on the side

    I'm the kid driving, my cousin was the navigator!

    Love the shades and the "serious" look on your face.
    I'm guessing about 12-13 yrs. old.
    You had to feel like the epitome of cool.

    It is a cool boat - bet you wish you still had it.

    My dad was like the "Great Santini" in other words he like to beat the living crap out of us kids....anyway he loved Boats and brought this thing home out of the blue....he required that I keep it waxed and clean.

    I must have polished that thing a million times....I do remeber that the hull cracked a lot, I would jump wakes....:}

    I do wish I could have it back....or a Mini Hawk painted up like my 38' KV would be cool

    Funny how you can plant a seed in a kid and it stays with ya?

    Dam, and you became a "Rust Picker"

    Loved the book (Pat Conroy) and the movie (Robert Duvall)

    When I was in ROK in 1983 we did the "chow down hogs" (cream of mushroom soup)scene at a local watering hole.....they were not amused
