My mom passed away tonight

Sad day for my brother and I when we learned that she died just 15 minutes after I spoke to her on the phone. She said that she was'nt feeling too well, she said that she must've ate too much and wanted to go to sleep. We called the doctor, even tho she told us not to, and were awaiting his return call, when the care giver called us 15 minutes later, all hysterical saying that she can't wake up my mom, and it does'nt look like she's breathing. We called the paramedics, and got there right after they did. They took her to the ER, where we went there and were in a waiting room. The police were asking us to give them any details that we could about her and her handicapped condition, when the doctor walks in and closed the door behind him. That's when I knew that the news was'nt gonna be good. All efforts failed trying to revive her. Hope that now, she's resting and at peace, pain free, with my dad planting flowers like they loved to do.

I am so sorry to hear that Frank, sounds like you were there for right up to the end. Your voice must have been one of the last ones she heard before heading up to heaven and I bet that was a comfort to her. Here memories, spirt, and love will be with you always, may she rest in peace

Thank you to everyone for all the kind thoughts and wishes. I realize she's in a way better place now than she was before. It was a long day of making funeral arrangements, looking for all the friends and family's contact #'s that we never found yet. Spending a good part of the day on the net trying to locate people that we only have an address for, finding out that they have unlisted #'s .
Her wake will be sunday followed by the funeral on monday. I'll be glad when it's time to go to sleep monday night.
