Of course that doesn't count the "mobile boat designing university" that you preside over at various watering holes......

Well, from what T2x indicates, it sounds like this design may have developed from a lot of theory and not modifying proven efforts. That's scary (and expensive). Why is their such a tight lid on the designed and builder or whatever?

kind of funny t2x talks about gilbreathe, i wonder what would have been if another team listened to gilbreathe several yrs ago instead of "letting him go" in favor of the king of turbines.

between geico, jbs and phenom theres would have been enough $$$ for about 20 plus supercats and $$$ leftover to pay for TV, prize purse, ect, ect, ect....................................basically what is needed and what everyone talks about wanting!

sad but looking at today's realities, jbs crying about $$$ and not racing, geico is rumored to park the turbine and move to supercat class of some sorts and phenom, well.........

it will be interesting off season. maybe, just maybe something positive might happen????????

Pat: They might also serve to put pre cavitated water (as you indicated) around the props to help break them loose for planing.

Ahhh yes but that would depend on rotation. With those hairdryers I do not think they would have trouble breaking the props loose...

What do you think inboard props, inboard rotation and outboard props, outboard rotation???

I wounder with all the knowledge from Dave S, JT, Mistic and Geico...
Could they have built a 50 to 55' cat with just 2 turbines and brake the record..or did they just want to do it with 4 turbines....
I would think with all that knowledge and experiance and Copelands money..
That would be the way to go...

    I don't think there would be much difference between L-R, L-R and L-L, R-R...
