    A man reported to police that his rings, valued at $2,700, were stolen from his fingers while he slept in a planter on Duval Street.

    The Coast Guard stopped a fishing boat off Key Largo that had 630 pounds of cocaine hidden in the fuel tanks.

    Four Cuban refugees motored up Riviera Canal and tied up to Jimmy Buffett's dock. He gave them something to drink and some of his tapes before they were turned over to immigration services.
