If I remember right, last time I looked at that fountain, someone had neglected to put a rub rail on it..........

I bet Steve gets a chance to test rub rails today. I'm guessing before the the first turn. Hope for some good racing, and ramming today.

11-12-2010 09:55 AMConditions are definitely a lot rougher than Wednesday. Whitecaps and the wind is coming down the chute from the north.
Bobcat had to be out there at 5:30 to set buoys etc. He'll be a patrol boat on the far turn I think. Either turn 2 or 3, guess we'll find out later.Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!

Our boats run 110 with the 31 1:36 gear. With the 1.50 we see 100. In most conditions we race in the top end is more valueable than the acceleration since we are normally hitting the rev limiter at 2/3rds down the straight away even with the 1:36. So unless it is Ocean City water, we nearly always run a 1:36 with either the 31 or 30 6 blade Herring labbed by BBlades

What happened? I had to take a phone call. Last I heard, Doc had the immediate lead.
Looks like SBI throws the green as soon as the pace boat starts to move. Randy got a horrible start. What was the finishing order?
