Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"Sonic is world-renowned for its quality build, roomy cabins and comfortable ride. We will continue to build on that heritage and have lowered pricing on all the models," owner Tony Frisina said in a statement.
Sonics will be sold through the company's current dealer network and the company is seeking new dealers for the full product line in the U.S. and overseas, added John Cunningham, head of marketing and sales.
Earlier this year, the company purchased the molds for Spectre power catamarans.
Frisini Motorsports is based in Lyndhurst, N.J., with manufacturing facilities in Tampa Bay, Fla.
