    Got a new toy.

I am now part of the center console crowd. This boat just kinda fell into my lap, because I wasn't actively looking. Has been in dry storage with full cover since new. Only 240 hours on motors. Motors Meticulously maintained with no real problems (I have ALL the service history). I know about the ficht story, and these motors don't seem to have the issues. Past owner lived out of town and kept boat here, had the shop do regular and sometimes unnecessary maintainence.

It is a Scarab Sport 302. Big change from the Top Gun, but it was such a deal, I couldn't pass. This way, I will see if I like a CC boat. If not, I can get out of it clean and easy. My goal was to have something MUCH easier to maintain. Didn't want all the polishing, rebuilding, cleaning, wrenching, etc etc that I had on the Cig. Want to spray it off, flush and walk away from it. Plus I wanted a top so I could get out of the sun as skin cancer runs in the family.

Just spent a few days tinkering and cleaning it to a reasonable level. Had it out in some big seas and while it ain't no Cigarette; it surprised me on how good it did ride.
