    Some of the pics I got of the Unlimiteds are pretty good. Had a great time watching them run too.

    I also had a chance to have a long chat with Steve David about the state of Unlimited Boat racing and Offshore racing. He certainly still keeps up on the events of out sport. Maybe one of these days he'll give up those hydros and come back to offshore.

    I've never seen the Hydros run, are they loud ? or do they sound like Miss Geico whistling past ? great pics !

    good stuff paul, while the roar of the big blocks is not there, hydros are fun to watch,
    I can say I was lucky enough to see them when it was all piston power! looks like great weekend.

    We { the SVL class and others } had the opportunity to watch from the Roostertail VIP section... Watching them as close as we were was indescribable. They are so cool. I was amazed how willing to hang deep in the gray zone most of them were.. One of the boats at the start of the final came around the turn virtually blinded by the curtain of water and passed the grandstands with in 6 or 10 feet....

    I am so glad I was able to attend..The entire weekend was off the hook COOL.

    steve didnt we talk on the phone about my hydroplane during the design and build and testing stages
    in the early 2006/07 days i would call the race shop all the time and the guys would help me work threw handling issues with the boat
