I'm in the process of painting the deck of a '73 MAGNUM SEDAN and want to remove or cover the non-skid it's worn down over the years. Any ideas on the process to achieve a smooth finish ? Thanks in advance. "HIGH LIFE"

Sand and fill if needed along with primeing the surface and this just might be a stupid question but...are you really sure you totally want to remove the non skid and why ?
