Pictures work great. Here is one that I pirated off of another smaller site:
This was Tues on Erie, I believe. An Apache and a Saber.

The quickie popup preview is slick- if you click it, another window opens- like if you want to save it.

I'm not sure about getting a new one and I think it did have 1075s. Just a very classie looking boat.

I don't think that you can.
    Wicked Won is/was a Saber.
Weren't the Sabers built with Apache molds? Or am I mixing histories?

Saber is still there- He's working on a new website. At the same time, he's looking for investment capital. Don't know what that means- maybe you could own part of a boat company. Saber never really did market their boats aggressively- or much at all. I suppose that's OK in a decent market, but that has to hurt right now.

They have the original Apache 47 mold- maybe they'll build you one?

I always thought that Wicked Won was great PR for them.

So... does Saber just do the 47?
(Just curious, I have a boat.)

They have molds for a 28, 34, 41 and the 47. 41 I believe are splashes of Apache boats, the 47 is the real one. The 34 they make is a beautiful boat- what the Apache 36 should have been- a miniature 41. But they needed something to compete with the Cafe Racer

It's a tough process- at least to do right. You have to pull a mold from the boat. Then you have to make a plug. The plug then has to be straightened and very finely finished. Then, you have to make another mold- a production mold. Long process. Not cheap either.
