    Lee Austin of S-12 DeepVCats/Stevequickjewelers is in the hospital after a heart attack in the pits in SI yesterday. He will be having surgery at 2, I will update as I hear.

    He is out of surgery and in recovery.....Dr. said everything went well, 2 bypasses plus pacemaker.
    I have a feeling once he starts talking.......the medical field will start learning all about offshore racing.

    Steve and Melissa just left Lee and he coudn't have a conversation but he gave them a thumbs up.......now he's sleeping

    I have great news!!! Lee is sitting up and ready for Dinner!!!!!!! He was visited today buysome of the whos who of Super Stock Offshore Racing. If all goes well it looks as if Lee will home sleeping in his own bed, on Friday!

    Oh and NO Pacemaker was required!!!

    We heard about it in Sunny Isles shortly before the awards, couldn't find out much more.

    Originally thought to be heat exhaustion?

    I finaly had the chance to talk with Steve right before the drivers meeting.
