we all know some of the drama thats been going on in regards to the site and chris... oso has become a bashfest to serious and sunkin... i will not allow the drama to spill over here

Even outside of the overkill on bashing Chris, I don't understand why all of a sudden they are allowing old issues & threads from as far back as 2003, to be pulled back up & reopened? I don't want to think they are ok with using that method to attract more people, but it's really gotten thick over there with OLD & new bashing?

Whatever the reason, it's not going to jive over here at ALL. I think I can speak for many others when I say we don't want to attract more attention to this site, by using negativity as the draw. I don't want to come here & watch a few tools just continue to beat a row of dead horses EVERY day going forward, and I think most of the members here feel the same. The ones that don't, obviously can continue on other sites with no one to interupt their interests.

It's going to be a fun Summer & future, having Stecz at the wheel.

I think the powers that be are assuming that EVERYONE knows what all the crap was about, and I not only don't know, I don't care.
Maybe the offshore websites should take an example from the racers, and organizers.
If the racers vowed to never race again with people they have bashed or been bashed by........who would be out there.
If a race director vowed to never let a racer return that bashed him.......
Need I say more.
I just know I met some great people in KW last year and now they aren't here anymore.
Move on and get over it, let everyone back that wants to come back....it's not a national disaster.

I agree as well . Just let them back in .Racegirl and speedgirl are always fun to fight with anyway . I bet speedgirl kicked me off a dozen times . always let me back . So show them the same consideration they have with some of us .

It would say that your post was edited, & who did it, if it was changed. It doesn't matter if you, a mod, or anything else changed something, it would still say it was edited & who did it.

I don't know anything about the drama.

I do know this site has been pretty slow these days. Not a lot of posts and little boating stuff.

I don't post on the other site as my membership expired and I haven't renewed.

I wish this site could get back to what it was like when it first started. But then, I wish a lot of things were like they used to be (like my retirement account!)

We were slow this time last year because everyone was out boating, on June 13th last year I did 640 posts because it was slow. We are actual boaters on this site

Well, banning a member who seemed to contribute a lot to this site doesn't help. And putting it up to a poll seems kind of rotten. Maybe I missed something but DAREDEVIL's posts seemed friendly and helpful.
