The ramp is nice, it's steep but nice. Parking is a ways ways ways away too. Might consider Pastrics Marina just over on Cline. 80 to Cline Ave North to the Pastrics exit. A few turns and your in.

Hammond is a great launch. Just a bit of a walk to get to the truck and trailer parking.

How far is boaters beach from East Chicago? I`m trying to figure something out for the kids to do while the water is freezing ass (besides grandmas house lol)
Looking at the Googles theres some dunes between East Chicago and Boaters beach.. anything interesting there?

I had the boat out of the garage and ready to go when it started raining like crazy, hasnt stopped since.
30% is what they said yeasterday yeah right
