I am looking at installing bungs for O2 sensors in the future on my motors. I have Stainless Marine manifolds and jacketed pipes. Is there some place where it is feasible or possible to install these. I understand that water at the sensor location is death to these sensors and may necessitate dry exhausts. Any input would be appreciated. - Jeff

Griswald installed them on his Stainless marine tail pipes. He can help you with it. Send him a PM if he doesn't see this post.

I took my jacketed pipes to Muffin Muffler here in Austin, they have done some custom work for me before, $50 to install the O2 bung , looks factory.. Any good fabrication shop can do it and for a WHOLE lot less than the manufacturers of the headers..
You would be amazed what a good fabrication shop can make/fix for you ...
Its the first thing I look for when i move to a new place.

Do they weld in a pipe to get to the exhaust through the jacket?

A little late to this post, but this is where I put my bungs in. Griswalds are in the ideal location, but this is where I could get a weld on the front and backside. In the first pic you can see the bungs I made. (I made 4, one for each pipe) And after you are done welding just grind down the weld, sand and polish.

Where Dardevil mentioned is where I have my EGT probes.
