    Looks like a nice piece. Not sure how much stronger it really is but, with the improvements in speed and handling who cares.

    Its Chine walking not chime. LOL

    no, if its makes a pleasant bell-like tone while moving side to side, i'ts "chime walking"

    TRS drive rock solid? Hardly. They had standard 1" propshafts with "zero" impact absorbsion when the propeller struck a submerged object. Partially because it required the use of solid hub propellers, partially because it was a clutchless non-shiftable drive...along with many other 60's design technologies. But you knew that. No comparison whatsoever to a little outboard motor based Alpha drive either.

    The Kid has a nice piece.. Its obviously not for everyone but, for the people with light fast boats with Alpha drives this a good way to add performance without a complete transom redo.

    I agree the easiest thing is to be a critic ,The real guy is the one who goes out and does something. Velocity stay on course.
