    BILOXI UPDATE 5/17/10

All is looking great for the 2010 season opener in Biloxi. The latest fly over shows the spill is the furthest it had been from shore with predictions looking even better. There has been no oil on the beaches and even the weather looks good, 20% or less chance of rain through the weekend.

So, load up and come on down let's go racing ! The first boat arrived last night and the finishing touches are being completed today and tomorrow.

Latest weather forecast:10% chance of rain, light winds, highs in the upper 80's, and plenty of SUNSHINE both Saturday and Sunday. We hope the weatherman is right. Can't wait to see all the racers. Be safe in your travels.

Just curious:are this year's races going to be run in 2 heats like last year? Last year, a lot of fans thought the race was over after the first heat and left. We've got quite a few family and friends coming for this year's race and I'd like to be able to educate them on what's going on. Thanks in advance.
