That's a pretty close list to what my goal is, but, small changes....

43 or 46 Black Thunder instead of the Express Cruiser. No way an Express Cruiser will hit 100.....

Some kind of Race Boat instead of the 388 Skater. (Unless it is actually a race boat). On my budget, looking at SVL's because of the ease of towing to sites, the single engine being less on maintenance, and the competition and comaraderie in the class.

ANd I'm leaning towards getting rid of the 24 and getting an aluminum 24 Sprint Jet Boat for that early morning blast. (Took a ride in Oregon once. Driving like an Aussie sprint racer is crazy fun...) They will go in 4" of water.....

Before I made my choice I would like to take a ride and drive a couple more boats. I would like something in the 36-43' range. Merc 700's and nxt drives would be great.

I'm not partial to an BRAND, but I'd say the Cig 39'/700's has become the benchmark for what a great boat should be.

Like they say, when everyone compares something to a certain thing, why not just get that exact thing?

Says who? All the marketing money and everyone that drools Cig? What can a Cig 39/700 do that the other 10 or so options can't? Why would I spend at least $500k just to be like somebody else?

I'll take an Active Thunder comparatively equipped. Or for the same money as that Cig, Pat "might" put together a 43' with Merc 1300/ASDs.

Since a pair of Merc 1,300's w/8's is $404,000 I'd have to say good luck with that.

What makes the 39 more desirable than a 42x? I think i would rather have a 42 or 46x. Since i cant afford either, might as well add 7-11' in length to what i have now.

I really like the Outerlimits 39 sitdown GTX models with the half cabin, throw in some 700's and have one hell of fast reliable ride!

Yeah - that Rough Rider that was a TWIN STEP with a full cabin including an enclosed bathroom that was in the CIG section a few months ago was my ultimate CIG.
